The Milton-Freewater Area Foundation was founded in 1962 for the purpose of creating a trust for charitable and educational uses in our community. The Foundation’s Distribution Committee consists of five (5) local members, a director, and the trust is managed by Baker Boyer Bank.

The MFAF owns the Frazier Farmstead Museum and works with the local historical society to keep it open to the public and available for local events.

It is through the generous donations of local families to the MFAF that the Foundation has been able to give out over a million dollars in scholarships and grants to recipients in the Milton-Freewater Area.

The Foundation is responsible for at least 12 different scholarship funds for high school seniors heading to college.
